Tolar Church of Christ

Welcome to the online home of the Tolar Church of Christ. It's our prayer that you'll find something here that blesses you. We hope you'll make this a frequent stop as you're surfing the web. More than that, we hope you will give us an opportunity to meet you in person. Please give us a visit at any of our services.

Thanks and God Bless...

NOTICE FROM THE ELDERS

In light of continued concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19 virus and the recommendations of the CDC to limit the number of people in a public gathering to 10, it is with much thought and prayer that we as your elders feel it necessary at this time to pause our normal worship & study assembly times we share at the church building. While we regret having to make this decision to not be with each other, we feel the health and safety of our members must take priority. We expect this to be very temporary and hope to resume our regular services April 5, Lord willing.

In the meantime, we want you to please take advantage of several things:

1. Special family times to study together in your home, reading and discussing scripture.

2. Watching live & recorded messages/sermons from Brad to guide us in our studies. They will be made available both LIVE on the Tolar Church of Christ facebook page during regular service times and then posted later to YouTube. The YouTube direct link will be sent to you after each message is uploaded there, via email or you can search YouTube for Brad Fry sermon and find it. (For now, they are being posted on a channel under Lisa Ives.)

3. While we are limiting personal physical contact, this makes the importance of phone calls, texts and social media as important ways we can keep positive encouragement going as we interact to check-in on each other.

4. If you have a special need, especially in regard to meals, groceries, pharmacy pick-up or anything else, please don't hesitate to call the church or your elders and let us know how we can help.

5. For your convenience and to help us continue to be able to support the many works we are committed to providing for, we would like to give you the opportunity to either mail in your weekly contribution or drop if off with Brad at the church office when he is there, or get it to one of the elders. The mailing address for the church is P.O. Box 517, Tolar TX 76476

6. Also for your convenience, if you do not have your own communion supplies in your home, we have ordered pre-packaged & sealed cups with both bread & juice in small individual portions. These will be made available in the foyer for you to pick up at your convenience if you are out and able to pick them up. Please let us know if you would like for someone to drop them off for you. (We ask at this time you just take enough for these two weeks as we only have 250 in this first order.)
